| dc.description.abstract | Bolest je častým problémem pacientů na odděleních neodkladné péče. U pacientů, kteří nemohou prožitek bolesti verbálně nebo graficky sdělit, lze hodnotit mimiku tváře, polohu a pohyby pacienta a stav fyziologických funkcí. Cílem studie bylo ve vybraném zdravotnickém zařízení popsat aktuální management akutní bolesti ve vztahu k platným směrnicím a pokynům ve zdravotnické dokumentaci u pacientů napojených 2. a 3. den na umělé plicní ventilaci. Byla provedena analýza zdravotnické dokumentace 60 pacientů se zaměřením na shody a neshody se směrnicemi a lékařskými ordinacemi se zaměřením na tyto oblasti: intervaly hodnocení intenzity bolesti; podání vhodného analgetika dle intenzity bolesti a ordinace lékaře; zaznamenání podání analgetika; přehodnocení intenzity bolesti po podání analgetika. Zjištěné neshody se vyskytovaly až do 38 % podle druhu sledované situace a sledovaného období. Výsledky práce ukázaly klady, ale i nedostatky, které je třeba odstraňovat. Studie přinesla důležitá data pro manažery oddělení neodkladné péče vybraného zdravotnického zařízení a je ukončena doporučeními autorů pro praxi. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | Pain is a frequent problem experienced by patients in urgent care units. Patients who cannot communicate their level of pain either verbally or in writing can be assessed through facial mimicry, position and gestures, and the state of their physiological functions. The goal of this study is to describe the current management of acute pain of patients connected to artificial respirators for two or three days in a selected healthcare facility, relative to standing guidelines and directives. The analysis of the medical documentation of 60 patients with a focus on compliance and non-compliance with the directives and doctors' orders, focuses on the following areas: intervals of evaluations, intensity of pain, the administration of the appropriate analgesic according to the intensity of the pain and the doctor's orders, the notation of the administration of the analgesic, reevaluation of the intensity of the pain after the administration of the analgesic. Non-compliance was found in up to 38 percent of the cases, depending on the type of situation or time-period monitored. The results of the study showed the benefits as well as the deficiencies which need to be corrected. The study presents important data for urgent care unit managers in the selected healthcare facility and ends with the practical recommendations of the authors. | eng |
