dc.description.abstract	The aim of this Bachelor paper is to investigate Czech equivalent structures of the English passive in Academic text. This work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part the English passive structures and the Czech passive structures are introduced. Then, features of the academic style and relation between the style and passive voice with the passive voice are described. The typological differences between the two languages are mentioned and common ways of translating the English passive voice into Czech are discussed. In the practical part the corpus of examples for the analysis is presented, analyzed, discussed and compared with the Czech translation.	eng
dc.description.abstract-translated	Cílem práce je vyhodnotit využití pasiva v anglickém akademickém stylu ve srovnání s jejich českými protějšky. V teoretické části studentka shromáždí z odborné literatury obecné poznatky o struktuře a využití pasiva v angličtině a češtině. Vzhledem k tomu, že anglické pasivum není vždy překládáno obdobnou strukturou v češtině, bude také hledat ostatní možnosti ekvivalence. Zároveň shrne typické rysy akademického stylu. V praktické části vybere dostatečný vzorek anglických pasivních konstrukcí z několika typů materiálů napsaných tímto stylem a pokusí se najít jejich oficiální překlad. Analýzou shromážděných větných struktur dojde k závěrům o četnosti pasiva v obou jazycích a jiných možnostech ekvivalence v češtině.	cze
