dc.description.abstract	Diese Abschlussarbeit befasst sich mit einer der berühmtesten Persönlichkeiten des deutschen Boxens - mit dem Weltmeister Max Schmeling. Sie bringt nicht nur Hinweise darauf, wie sein Name während des Dritten Reiches zur Propaganda des Nationalsozialismus ausgenutzt wurde, aber auch zugleich beweist, dass er kein Nazi war, wie über ihn oftmals behauptet wurde. Der Leser erfährt, was für eine Legende er noch während seines Lebens war und womit er sich bedeckte.	ger
