Hospodářský růst v éře nové ekonomiky

Abstract

The article deals first with economic growth in historical point of view of different economic schools. In this article are also defined the new economy and examined the influence of their main instruments (ICT) on economic growth. ICT are represented by the ICT sector. Statistics data ICT sector variables are reported. These variables have affect on economic growth and regional development. Aggregate indicator of the ICT sector impact was constructed. This indicator was named after his graphic design and is called N-gon ICT sector influence (NUVICT). NUVICT values are calculated for the Czech Republic. The sub-indicators, in which NUVICT is consists, are namely significant investments. Other variables contained therein have positive effect on investmens. On the basis of this assumption was set hypothesi, that increasing influence of the ICT sector in the territory, which is presented by NUVICT indicator, increases in GDP of the territory.
