dc.description.abstract-translatedThe principal objective of this thesis was to determine the incidence of the Crohn’s disease in 2004 to 2006 in the Pardubice region found at the gastroenterology unit of the Internal clinic of the Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s. [the Pardubice Regional Hospital]. The chapters of the theoretical part briefly describe the issues concerning this disease. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to dealing with the research of the Crohn’s disease itself which took place at the gastroenterology unit of the Internal clinic of the Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s., its objectives, methodology, outcomes and conclusions.eng
