dc.description.abstract	Cílem této práce bylo především zmapovat nejen vliv marxismu-leninismu na studium buddhismu, ale i dalších myšlenkových a náboženských proudů, jako je křesťanství a pozitivismus či osvícenství. V tomto případě se zájem výzkumu soustředil především na problematické interpretace ovlivněné těmito proudy, především pak na vliv křesťanství. V souvislosti s problematickými interpretacemi byl současně přehodnocen i samotný teoretický rámec, ve kterém se studium buddhismu do roku 1989 nacházelo. První kapitola této práce představuje stručnou historii studia buddhismu na českém území a jeho vývoj po roce 1948. Druhá kapitola se již soustřeďuje na samotnou analýzu vybraných kontroverzních témat jako je buddhistická morálka, pasivita a pesimismus. Ve třetí kapitole je poté představen přístup českých autorů k mahájánovému buddhismu. Zde je mahájánový buddhismus zasazen do kontextu nejstaršího - "původního a čistého" buddhismu. Čtvrtá kapitola se zaměřuje na interpretaci sociálních a náboženských poměrů ve starověké Indii. V tomto případě nás zajímal především vztah buddhismu k bráhmanismu a ke kastovnímu systému. Závěrečná, pátá kapitola, pojednává o překladatelské činnosti českých badatelů a jejich způsobu zacházení s buddhistickými pojmy.	cze
dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of the thesis was not only to process the effect of Marxism-Leninism ideology on the research of Buddhism, but also to map the effect on the other mental and religious flows like the Christianity and the Positivism or the Enlightenment. In that case the research concerned on problematical interpretations influenced by these flows, mainly on the influence of the Christianity. The theoretical scope itself was reassessed in connection with these problematical interpretations in which the research of Buddhism was found till 1989. The first chapter of the thesis introduces a brief history of the study of Buddhism on the Czech areas and its development after 1948. The second chapter concentrates on the analysis of selected controversial themes like Buddhist morality, passivity and pessimism. The third chapter processes the access of the Czech authors to the Mahayana Buddhism. The Mahayana Buddhism is put in the context of the oldest Buddhism - "the original and the pure Buddhism". The fourth chapter focuses on the social and religious conditions in ancient India. In this instance, we were interested in the relation of the Buddhism to the Brahmanism and to the caste system. The final fifth chapter deals with translation activities of the Czech researchers and their methods of dealing with the Buddhist concepts.	eng
