| dc.description.abstract | Studie pojednává o přístupu ke zvířatům v legendách o křesťanských světcích Hlavní teze spočívá v myšlence, že existuje odlišný vztah ke zvířatům než pouze tradičně účelový nebo novověce mechanistický. Nejedná se o linii myšlení pojatou v přesných filozofických pojmech, s danou kontinuitou, je ovšem v dějinách přítomná a legendy do ní spadají. Objevuje se i v antickém myšlení, typicky u Porfyria. Vymezuje jinak racionalitu, a to včetně racionality jako prostředku pro rozlišení mezi zvířaty a lidmi, schopnost komunikace zvířat, jejich možnost přesáhnout pouhý rozměr smyslovosti i jejich potenciál v přátelství s člověkem. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This study discusses the treatment of animals in the legends of saints in Christianity. The main thesis is in the idea that there is a different relationship to animals than the traditionally purposive or modern mechanistic one. It is not a line of thought conceived in precise philosophical terms, with a given continuity, but it is present in history and the legends which fall within it. It also appears in ancient thoughts, typically in Porphyry. It defines rationality in a different manner, including rationality as a means of distinguishing between animals and humans, the ability of communication in animal kingdom and their ability to transcend the mere dimension of sensuality, as well as the potential in friendship with humans. | eng |
