Publishing system as the new tool for the open access promotion at the university

Abstract

The full texts of peer-reviewed journals published at the University of Pardubice are nowadays manually submitted to the institutional repository Digital Library of UPa (DSpace). To improve the publishing process, visibility and appereance of these journals, the University Library proposed the new service for the journal’s boards. The Library will administrate the open source software Open Journal System (OJS) and will provide the support for the journals in technical and in open access tasks as well. To keep the continuity, the previous volumes wil be imported from the institutional repository and for the future the OJS will be harvested by the repository.
