dc.description.abstract	Práce se zabývá raně novověkými vizuálními reprezentacemi města. Na tyto historické prameny ikonografické - staré mapy, plány a veduty - je nahlíženo jako na kategorie portrétu města určené pouze měřítkem a úhlem pohledu, pod kterým je na město shlíženo. Zvolený přístup usiluje o oproštění od metod a přístupů tradičních disciplín (kartografie, dějiny umění apod.). Autorka se snaží popsat okolnosti vzniku, účel a celkový kontext cirkulace všech sledovaných dokumentů a chápat je ve vzájemných souvislostech. V první části práce autorka rekapituluje českou i zahraniční sekundární literaturu a shrnuje stoletou snahu o sepsání pramenů k tomuto tématu. Je popsána navrhovaná databáze propojená s internetovým mapovým portálem http://towns.hiu.cas.cz. Nejrozsáhlejší kapitola je prvním pokusem o popsání vývoje a proměn portrétu Prahy. Na závěr této mezioborově pojaté práce se autorka snaží definovat "ikonické" pohledy na Prahu nejrůznější povahy a popsat jejich historii.	cze
dc.description.abstract-translated	The study deals with visual representations of a town (city) that originated in the early modern period. These historical iconographical sources - old maps, town plans and vistas - are discussed as different categories of portrait of a city. They are defined by scale and viewer´s angle, not by methodologies and approaches of traditional disciplines (cartography, art history, etc.). The author aims to understand the circumstances of the origin, the purpose and wide context of use of every single document and, at the same time, shows the mutual links among discussed documents. In the first part of the present paper, the author summarizes the secondary literature, both Czech and foreign, and offers an overview on state of knowledge and lists of sources. The newly designed database connected with web map portal http://towns.hiu.cas.cz is described. The longest chapter aims to be the first sketch of the development of the portrait of Prague during centuries. Finally, this interdisciplinary paper concludes with defining the "iconic" views of Prague and describing their roots.	eng
