| dc.description.abstract | Cílem diplomové práce je představit Evropský systém centrálních bank. Jde o seznámení s hlavními úkoly a důvody vzniku Evropské unie, aspekty zavedení společné měny a jejího fungování a řízení Evropskou centrální bankou. V úvodu práce jsou uvedeny hlavní etapy vzniku Evropské unie. V druhé části je zmíněn Evropský systém centrálních bank a Evropská centrální banka jako hlavní organizace, které provádějí měnovou politiku v rámci Evropské unie. Je zde vysvětleno jejich fungování a smysl. V další části je podrobněji popsáno utváření společné měny a tři etapy jejího zavedení. Následně jsou zhodnoceny přínosy a rizika jejího fungování. Poslední kapitoly se týkají konvergenčních kritérií a jejich plnění ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie. Jako jedna ze zemí je podrobněji analyzována i Česká republika, která je další zemí, která euro v blízké době zavede. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The European Union at this moment has an important role. The aim of the thesis is to describe the European System of Central Banks. It covers the main tasks and the reasons of the formation of the European Union, aspects of the establishment of common currency and its functions and management of the European Central Bank. The introduction includes the main stages of the European Union. In the second section of the thesis is a more detailed description of the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank organisation. This has been responsible for controlling monetary policy for the euro currency area. Here is an interpretation of their existence and purpose. The next section describes in detail the creation of the common currency and three stages that will start this process. Then is a description of the benefits and risks. In the last section is a description of the convergence criteria and their fulfilment in the choice of member countries within the European Union. There is also an analysis of the Czech Republic, which is also willing to adopt the Euro. | eng |
