dc.description.abstractStudie se zaměřuje na koncept mimesis v literatuře v historickém, ale i současném pojetí. V následujícím textu budou srovnávány koncepty Philipa Sidneyho a Anthonyno Nuttalla, kteří chápou mimesis jako odraz skutečnosti v literárních dílech. Sidney vyzdvihuje především schopnost básníka vytvářet fiktivní světy. Nuttall pak prezentuje mimesis jako jakýkoli záměrný vztah k realitě a tvrdí, že nám tak umožňuje „lhát". Autoři se názorově příliš neliší, přestože Sidneyho pojetí vnímá „hru s textem“ a vědomé přetváření reality pozitivně, Nuttall poukazuje mimo jiné i na schopnost mimesis lhát. Dá se však spisovatelův talent degradovat pouze na „lhaní“ a kopírování reality? Je možné za pomoci mimesis jako interpretačního aparátu identifikovat autora, odlišné kultury a porozumět jim?cze
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe contribution is focused on mimesis both in historical and current perspective. The author will compare Philip Sidney's concept of mimesis and Anthony Nuttall's who both understand mimesis as the reflection of reality in literature. Sidney emphasises that a poet has the ability to create fictional worlds. Nuttall, on the other hand, presents mimesis as any deliberate relation to reality and he argues that it gives us the power to "lie". The opinions of both authors are quite similar despite of the fact that for Sidney the "game with text" and the purposeful transformation of reality are positive, Nuttall among other things emphasises mimesis' ability to lie. However, can the natural writing talent be degraded to simple lying and duplication of reality? Is it possible to identify the author and different cultures with the help of mimesis as interpretive concept and understand them?eng
