dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá negací v anglickém a českém jazyce. Teoretická část obsahuje přehled jednotlivých typů záporu s odkazem na jejich použití, funkci, možnou kombinaci a poukazuje na rozdíly mezi oběma jazyky, které pramení zejména z odlišných koncepcí záporné věty, tj. pravidlo jedné negace v anglické větě a pravidlo mnohonásobné negace uplatňované v češtině. Celá práce je založena na kontrastivním přístupu, zejména pak její druhá část, která se skládá z analýzy a porovnání dvou identických textů v anglickém a českém jazyce. Výsledkem analýzy je přehled výskytu jednotlivých typů negace v obou jazycích a rozbor nejčastějších ekvivalentů.cze
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with a linguistic negation in English and Czech language. Theoretical part provides the overview of individual types of negation commenting their usage, function, possible combination, and shows the differences in concepts of negation between both languages which arise mainly from the specific rules applied in these languages, more precisely the rule of single negation in English and the rule of multiple negation in Czech. The whole thesis is based on the contrastive approach, especially the second part consisting of a contrastive analysis which focuses on comparison of two identical texts in both languages. The outcome of the analysis is the summary of frequency of individual types of negation in each language together with the most common patterns and equivalents.eng
