Abstrakt
The work focuses on American art of the 1930s, especially on a documentary photography as a tool for portraying social and political changes of the Great Depression period. Apart from others, it deals with a question concerning authenticity of the documentary photography sponsored by the Government. All this is reflected in the analysis of the work of American photographer Dorothea Lange with respect to the given period.
