Dark Secrets in An Inspector Calls and Dangerous Corner by J. B. Priestley

Abstract

This bachelor paper deals with the dark secrets in two plays, Dangerous Corner and An Inspector Calls, by J. B. Priestley. In the first main part of this paper the play Dangerous Corner is analysed in terms of the aspect of responsibility, secret loves and relationships among characters, and hypocrisy. The following part of this paper is devoted to the play An Inspector Calls, which is analysed by the same themes as the previous play with the add of the aspect of morality. Simultaneously, the similar and different elements are compared there.
