dc.description.abstract-translatedInterdisciplinarity in the cultural heritage care exists and has to exist as there is no other way. The discussion should focus on the problem of its operation. There are a lot of topics to be discussed, for example the conditions of interdisciplinary collaboration, meaningfulness, subject matter and objectives of the cultural heritage care, collaboration among the disciplines dealing with various segments of cultural heritage or promotion of the importance of cultural heritage and care for its preservation. Universities play a crucial role in the interdisciplinary collaboration concerning preservation of cultural heritage. The same applies to the Faculty of Restoration of the University of Pardubice. The 20th anniversary of higher education study programmes in Litomyšl is respectable, as well as the joint activities supporting the theory and practice of restoration and interdisciplinary collaboration within the field of monument care.eng
