Terms used in social politics and work represent certain context which influence the
approach to the problem individuals and/or behaviors and can cause further problems. In this
article we analyse term of “social pathology” and “risk behavior” and consider the
consequences of its use for public and social workers.
This article attempts to categorise the attitudes of the public and professional personnel
involved in legalising certain drugs.The categories are presented in opposing views, i.e. the
most frequent arguments for legalisation are cited on one side and the other standpoints
regarding the relevant questions are on the other.
