    The paper is focused on changes in dwelling conceptions and its advancing from necessity to create condition for middle class inhabitants dwelling - support of new (very often individual) houses building into social range and social questions. State and local level are discussed and examples from Pardubice (2005) and Nove Mesto nad Metuji (2012) are showed.

    Social policy has defined its scope. Some, such as social services, more attention is paid, some are more neglected. These include the area of housing policy, particularly social housing. This is an area that is left more or less the powers of municipalities and local governments. One of the types of social housing is apartments for the elderly and disabled. It is then a question of what motivated these people come asking for such an apartment, the extent to which their claim is justified.

    Community-led local development is a new EU tool to solve local needs and opportunities by force of local action groups. The needful scheme is based on development strategies with funding by various EU cohesion funds. There is a set of social issues that could be supported via CLLD as local actors can recognize and solve local problems better and more effectively than centralized bodies. It is true for promoting social inclusion and combating poverty, for social enterprising, social services, enhancing access to lifelong learning, promoting employment etc.

    Participace rodičů při sociálně právní ochraně dětí

    This article explores the ways in which parents perceives, experience and negotiate participation in and interventions of child protection system. Based on review of qualitative studies focused on parents’ views, it shows the importance of worker-parent relationship and system-parent approach. The ways how parents perceive workers and themselves in different moments of child protection processes is shown to be the primary influence shaping parents’ reactions to interventions (including decision not to cooperate).Parents who experienced helpful, participative, respectful and relatively fair interventions tended to cooperate with child protection workers. As a result positive engagement of parents in child protection system is proposed.

    Alpha The programme 5P is mentoring program that is implemented in the Czech Republic since 1996. The following range of programs for children at risk for an individual relationship with an adult mentor. The greatest benefit was for children enrolled in the programme 5P registered in confidence, social adaptation and their ability to express their feelings.

    Riziko dopadu internetových sociálních sítí na životní styl studentů

    The report is focused on the isme of usage of social networks in everyday life of students and possible impal of these activities on their psychosomatic state. The research was performed at 200 students of secondary and high school, aimed at the students with healthcare focus, agend from 15 to 24 years. The studied area was the whole Eastern Bohemian region. The results of surfy based research were processed by relative frequency and two-sample t-test with aquel variance.

    The number of children placed in the institutions who could be theoratically situated in their own families are aproximately 5 500 in the Czech Republic. The number of children with experience of deprivation in their own biological families are aproximately 400 000. Our attention is focused on strange direction.

    Sanace rodiny-multidisciplinární spolupráce

    After defining family strengthening, the author of the contribution focuses on the description of its main characteristics. She considers multidisciplinary cooperation to be a key “working unit” of family strengthening instead of separate work of social workers and other professionals with the family. Qualitative outcomes of family strengthening are influenced by quality of multidisciplinary cooperation that is given not only by expertise of the particular members of the team but also by the atmosphere among them.

    The content of this paper is to present cooperation of organizations dealing with the care of socially disadvantaged children and families in the Pardubice region within the Municipality of Pardubice, Department of Social Affairs. In more detail we introduce work of two departments: the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children and the Department of Social Services and Prevention. The work also includes case study, that the above mentioned information processes in practice.

    Sociální podnikání jako nástroj udržitelnosti poskytování sociálních služeb

    Available offer of social services within optimal budget there is a challenge facing society and municipalities nowadays. One possible way is to cooperate with non-profit sector to share the same goal through social business unit. Social enterprises are highly differentiated depending on the needs of their target populations, and their program and financial objectives. They combine entrepreneurial and direct employer principles to provide business and get resources without any other support. Social enterprise revenues must cover normal business operations as well as subsidize social program costs incurred by working with its target population. The main goal of this paper is to present recent trends and models of social business units suitable for social services providing. The case study is presented as a practical picture of model using in contrast with student knowledge about social entrepreneurship according small survey. Finally paper highlights that social enterprise programs uses modified private-sector business tools and puts viability at the forefront as the means to achieve social impact.
