American Slavery: Male and Female Perspectives

Abstract

This thesis examines the differences between the experiences of enslaved men and women in colonial America. The paper analyzes authentic testimonies from enslaved individuals who escaped from captivity or were freed. Based on these narratives, the experiences of men and women are compared, and the main differences in their daily lives are identified.
