| dc.description.abstract | Příspěvek se snaží v interdisciplinárním přístupu kulturních dějin a filologie popsat způsoby a charakteristiky cestování v evropských provinciích Osmanské říše v období od 15. do druhé poloviny 19. století, kdy změnu přinesl pozvolný nástup železnice. Pozornost bude soustředěna především na fenomén tzv. karavansarajů a hanů, tedy zájezdních hostinců, které se nacházely ve městech a v blízkosti hlavních cest a které nabízely nejen nocleh a zotavení, ale stávaly se také specifickým atributem kolektivní paměti. Předpokládaly určité mechanismy chování a sounáležitosti s ostatními poutníky. Příspěvek se tedy zaměří především na každodenní život, modely tohoto chování a tradice s těmito tématy související. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this paper is in the interdisciplinary approach of cultural history and philology to describe the methods and characteristics of travel in the European provinces of the Ottoman Empire in the period from 15th to the second half of the 19th century when the change was caused by the gradual development of the railways. Attention will be focused primarily on the phenomenon called caravanserais and khans, i.e. coaching inns, which were located in urban areas or near of major roads and which offer not only a bed and recovery, but also became the specific attributes of collective memory. They assumed certain behaviors and mechanisms of solidarity with other pilgrims and visitors. The paper will therefore focus primarily on everyday life, models of behavior and traditions associated with these topics. | eng |
