dc.description.abstract	Předmětem bakalářské práce je komplexní restaurování prvního vydání Mattioliho herbáře z roku 1562, který vznikl v tiskárně Jiřího Melantricha. Tato kniha se nachází ve sbírce soukromého majitele. Jedná se o barokní převazbu, nejspíše z roku 1813, ale není to převazba jediná. Kniha je ve velmi špatném stavu. Šití je nekompaktní a blok je velmi poškozený, hlavně ve střední části. Blok je úplně oddělen od knižních desek a pokryv nese známky poškození, hlavně pata vazby. Restaurátorská dokumentace obsahuje základní popis typologie a poškození této knihy. podrobně popisuje průběh restaurátorského zásahu a jsou zde také uvedeny doporučené podmínky pro uložení a zacházení s daným objektem. Práce také obsahuje seznam použitých materiálů a chemikálií, textovou, obrazovou a grafickou přílohu. V závěru se nachází rozsáhlá fotografická dokumentace stavu před a po restaurování díla a také z průběhu práce. Dokumentace je doplněna o kapitoly České herbáře do 17. století pojednávající o historii českých herbářů a Dělení Mattioliho herbáře, kde je blíže popsán systém dělení rostlin v dané knize.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a complete restoration of the first edition of Mattioli's herbarium from 1562 printed in Jiří Melantrich's printing house. The book is part of a private collection. The book has been rebound multiple times, with the last rebinding dating to the baroque era, probably to 1813. The book is in a very poor condition. The stitching is loose and the book block, especially its middle part, is seriously damaged. The block is entirely separated from the book covers and the covering material is also damaged, especially at the tail of the book. The documentation of the restoration includes a basic description of the typology and damage of the book as well as a detailed description of the restoration process. It also gives recommendations for storing and handling the book. Furthermore, the thesis contains a list of all the materials and chemicals used in the process, a textual appendix, images, and graphics. The last part of the thesis provides a rich photographic documentation of the book before and after the restoration as well as during the process. The documentation is expanded with chapters on Czech herbaria up to the 17th century and the organisation of Mattioli's herbarium, which explore the history of Czech herbaria and the system that was used to organise plants in Mattioli's herbarium, respectively.	eng
