dc.description.abstract Práce se zaměřuje na zavedení zbytku alfa-aminokyseliny do struktury pětičlenných dusíkatých heterocyklických sloučenin. Rešeršní část se zaměřila především na deriváty benzo[d]imidazolu a benzo[d]oxazolu. V experimentální části bylo navrženo a připraveno několik nových derivátů benzo[d]imidazolu nesoucích zbytek alfa-aminokyseliny připojený v poloze C2. Tyto opticky čisté primární aminy byly dále využity jako organokatalyzátory v asymetrických aldolových reakcích. cze

dc.description.abstract-translated This doctoral work focuses on introduction of alpha-amino acid pendants on five membered nitrogen heterocyclic compounds. The literature search has mainly been focused on benzo[d]imidazole and benzo[d]oxazole derivatives. In the experimental part, several new benzo[d]imidazole derivatives bearing a-amino acid residues attached at the C2 position were designed and prepared. These optically pure primary amines were further applied as organocatalysts in asymmetric aldol reactions. eng

dc.description.defence ZÁPIS O OBHAJOBĚ DISERTAČNÍ PRÁCE (Record concerning Ph.D. Thesis Defense) Competitor: MSc. Pravinkumar H. Mohite Ph.D. Thesis title: "Utilization of alpha-aminoacids in the synthesis of nitrogen heterocycles" Presence: see the enclosed Attendance Sheet Thesis defense was opened by the Chairman of the Committee - doc. Ing. Jiří Hanusek, Ph.D. - who stated that from seven designated Committee members including two opponents is five present thus allowing accomplishment of the thesis examination. Further he excused prof. Dr. Jarosław Romański and prof. RNDr. Petr Klán, Ph.D. Both of them cannot come to join the Committee due to their urgent duties. Thesis Supervisor - doc. Ing. Filip Bureš, Ph.D. - has also attended the defense. The Chairman briefly introduced competitor and announced that he fulfilled all the necessary requirements according to Study and Examination Rules of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice. The Chairman also announced that the Competitor passed his Comprehensive Ph.D. Examination (State Doctoral Examination, September 29th 2015). Then thesis Supervisor apprised Committee with his positive formal opinions. Subsequently, the positive opinions of Head of Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology, prof. Ing. Miloš Sedlák, DrSc., has been read by the Chairman of the Committee. Competitor Pravinkumar Mohite then gave a 20 minutes lecture about results obtained during his study. His lecture was appreciated by the Committee members. After that, opponents' expert opinions have been read; doc. Ing. Radek Cibulka read his opinions and then Chairman of the committee read the opinions of prof. Dr. Jarosław Romański. Opponents asked Competitor for appropriate answers. Competitor successfully answered all opponents' questions and suggestions. Then Ph.D. Thesis examination was opened for discussion: " prof. Ing. Dalimil Dvořák, CSc. - Conversion and yields of the performed reactions " doc. Ing. Roman Jambor, Ph.D. - Can be an aldol reaction catalysed by organometallic compounds? - Stability of the prepared compounds in solution " prof. RNDr. Milan Pour, Ph.D. - Possibility of a complexation of nitrogen heterocycles with the Cu atoms - Influence of the benzene ring substituents on the enantioselectivity " doc. Ing. Jiří Hanusek, Ph.D. - Possibility of racemization during N-methylation process Competitor successfully answered all Committee-members' questions and suggestions. Neither written or oral questions nor remarks were delivered to the Chairman of the Committee, therefore the public part of the Defense was closed. After that, all Committee members voted using printed forms (they are attached to this Record). On the basis of the voting the Chairman has announced that the result is: "passed" (vyhověl) At the end of session the chairman apprised Competitor with the result of voting and then announced that he will suggest to Dean of Faculty of Chemical Technology, prof.
