dc.description.abstract-translated In the contribution, there is a brief list of photographic documentation of historic funds, which is made for the purposes of presentation and preservation of the library collections in the National Library of the Czech Republic. The emphasis is placed on capturing various forms of documentation of restoration treatments, namely from the view of the development, esthetic approach and systematic records. Several specific documentation methods of conservation examinations are described and the options of retrospective use of documentation from various periods of time during restoration treatments, conservation examinations and in the specific cases of damage or loss of the primary object. An independent group comprises the documentation from the Archive of the National Library, where the way of presentation and the development of the ethical approach towards the preservation of library funds is depicted in photographs. The restoration information system ReslS was designed for complex processing of the restoration and conservation documentation, as well as the documentation of exhibitions and research projects. eng
