dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na umírání a smrt z pohledu sestry. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat okolnosti týkající se umírání a smrti pacientů na pracovištích ARO, LDN a v hospicových zařízeních. V části teoretické jsou shrnuty základních poznatky, které se vztahují k této problematice. Zabývám se thanatologií, paliativní péčí a vlivem stresové situace v podobě smrti pacienta na psychiku sestry. V rámci kapitoly o stresových situacích v práci sestry, která se stará o nemocné v terminálním stádiu onemocnění jsou zmíněny i možnosti duševní hygieny sester, jež mohou zásadně pomoci při překonávání takovýchto závažných situací. Praktická část obsahuje interpretaci dat, které byly získány na základě dotazníkového šetření. Cílem je ukázat rozdílnost sester na různém oddělení a jejich vnímavost při práci o terminálně nemocné. Hlavní zaměření bylo na zdravotní sestry, jak jsou či nejsou schopné se vypořádat s náročností v této tématice a uvést tak hlavní okolnosti s tímto spjaté.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis is focused on death and the process of dying from the perspective of nurses. The aim of the study was to explore factors related to dying and the death of patients at Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care departments, hospitals for long term sickness and hospice facilities. The theoretical part deals with general definitions of stress, by physical and emotional effects and overall burden related to stress-induced burnouts. Next follows the mental hygiene and ways and coping strategies to reduce stress. Further on is described the palliative medicine, palliative care facilities, educational centers, and the last chapter deals with defining the concepts of death and dying as well as the dying process, the definition of Thanatology discipline, the needs of nurses and legislation and ethical principles in the field of palliative care for patients.
