Embolizace tepen odstupujících z vaku aneuryzmatu zlepšuje efekt léčby, snižuje výskyt kolaterálního endoleaku a radiační zátěž. |

The theoretical part deals with abdominal aortic aneurysms, their risks, possibilities of imaging modalities, and treatment.
Endovascular treatment of abdominal aneurysms using stentgrafts is associated with certain risk of technical failure and a subsequent CT monitoring.
The practical part is focused on a group of 45 patients divided into three groups who were or were not embolised. The results of treatment and dose of radiation are compared. There is also emphasized the role of radiology assistant.
Embolization of arteries arising from the aneurysm sac improves the effectiveness of treatment and reduces the incidence of collateral endoleaks and radiation dose. |
