dc.description.abstract	Tento příspěvek představuje možnosti použití základní screeningové diagnostiky u osob s demencí nebo osob ohrožených syndromem demence, a to zejména pro zdravotnický nelékařský personál a pro odborníky jiných odvětví (sociální pracovníky, sociálně- -zdravotní pracovníky, logopedy, speciální pedagogy, ergoterapeuty apod.), kteří se seniory pracují. V úvodu představuji současnou situaci v oblasti prevalence demence v ČR a specificky pak v rezidenčních zařízeních určených pro seniory. V dalších kapitolách prezentuji možnosti diagnostické práce s jednotlivými screeningovými metodami v oblasti screeningu demence (MMSE, ACE – R, 7 minutový test), deprese (GDS) a soběstačnosti (ADL, IADL) s přihlédnutím k tomu, v jakém vztahu se tyto jednotlivé komponenty osobnosti seniora nacházejí. Cíl: Předložit základní možnosti použití screeningových metod pro testování seniorů s demencí nebo ohrožených syndromem demence, s přihlédnutím k využití těchto metod v praxi nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků a nezdravotnických pracovníků. Metodika: Vzhledem k teoretické povaze příspěvku byla použita metoda desk research. Výsledky: Počet seniorů s demencí každoročně narůstá a s tím se zvyšuje i apel na správnou a včasnou diagnostiku demence, obzvláště v zařízeních poskytujících rezidenční péči. Předkládané screeningové metody jsou pro základní diagnostiku demence nezbytné. Jejich účinnost, citlivost a praktické využití jsou dlouhodobě zkoumány a v praxi ověřovány s pozitivním efektem. Závěr: Příspěvek předkládá možnosti použití screeningové diagnostiky osob s demencí nebo ohrožených syndromem demence v praxi nelékařského zdravotnického personálu a nezdravotnického personálu. K tomuto tématu představuje 6 základních diagnostických screeningových materiálů.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	Introduction: This paper presents the possibility of using the screening diagnosis of people with dementia or people at risk of dementia, especially for medical paramedical staff, professionals in other sectors (social workers, social and health workers, speech therapists, special educators, occupational therapists, etc.). In the introduction represents the current situation in the prevalence of dementia in the Czech Republic and specifically in residential services for seniors. In subsequent chapters then I present the possibility of working with different methods of screening for dementia (MMSE, ACE – R, 7-minute test), depression (GDS) and self-sufficiency (ADL, IADL) with regard to what relationship these individual components of an older person located. Aim: To present basic options use screening methods for testing the elderly with dementia or dementia at risk with regard to the use of these methods in practice paramedical staff and non-paramedical personnel. Method: In the paper the method used desk research. Results: The number of seniors with dementia increases every year, and with it increases the appeal to correct and timely diagnosis of dementia, particularly in facilities providing residential care. Screening methods are presented for primary diagnosis of dementia is necessary. Their efficiency, sensitivity and practical use has long been studied and verified in practice with a positive effect. Conclusion: This paper presents the possibility of using the screening diagnosis of people with dementia or people at risk of dementia, especially for medical paramedical staff and non-paramedical personnel.
