Diplomová práce, jako případová studie, pojednává o reintegrace území vojenského újezdu Brdy pod civilní jurisdikci. V práci jsou analyzovány funkce vojenských újezdů a vývoj jejich počtu na území České republiky od počátku 20. století. Je také ukázán dopad převodu území z odpovědnosti Ministerstva obrany do správy obcí, krajů a Agentury ochrany přírody a krajiny z hlediska zajišťování ochrany života, zdraví a majetkových hodnot na tomto území. |

This master thesis, a case study, deals with the re-integration of military training area Brdy back under civil jurisdiction. Regarding aim and use of the military training areas in the Czech Republic, author provides in-depth explanation of evolution of militarization and demilitarization of the Czech state territory induced by geopolitical changes started at the beginning of 1900´s. She demonstrates the impact of demilitarization of the Brdy military training area on the local security policy as well. |
