Abstract:
In the theoretical part, firstly, the bachelor thesis focuses on what the textbook functions in the teaching-learning process concerning developing listening skills are. Secondly, the listening presentation and practice in textbooks is elaborated on. Lastly, the evaluation criteria established in the form of a checklist are presented at the end of the theoretical part. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the selected textbooks are being evaluated, taking the range of questions covered in the comprehensive checklist into account.
