dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá vybraným domovem pro seniory. Zaměří se na domov pro seniory jako na totální instituci a pokusí se zjistit, do jaké míry tato instituce ovlivňuje život zde žijících seniorů (klientů) a do jaké míry ho mohou ovlivnit oni sami. Práce se zaměří na domov také z hlediska selektivnosti a to jak z pohledu domova, tak z pohledu seniorů. Tedy pokusí se zjistit, jak probíhá výběr budoucích klientů, jakým kritériím výběr podléhá a naopak z druhé strany, jací lidé se snaží do domova pro seniory dostat a proč. Důležitá je také otázka, zda senioři sami chtějí do domova pro seniory, nebo nemají jinou volbu a jsou tam prakticky "odloženi". Práce je založena na vlastním kvalitativním výzkumu. Použité metody jsou zúčastněné pozorování a rozhovory.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	The diploma thesis is focused on particular nursing home, focusing on this organisation as a total institution. The aim of the thesis is to learn, how much this organization affect life of local seniors(its clients) and to what extent they can regulate their life in this organisation themselves. Another aspect of this thesis is selection, from the both- the organisation and the client side. The focus on selection measure criteria given from the organisation and on the other hand, looking at the type of people and their reasons why they are coming to this organisation. Important question is also if the seniors want to join nursing home themselves or the decision is made by someone else.	eng
