dc.description.abstract	Tato práce uvádí do problematiky mentální retardace ze sociálního hlediska. Poukazuje na některé historické momenty v péči o mentálně postižené jedince, zaměřuje se na vysvětlení základních pojmů a popisuje různé stupně mentálního postižení. Uvádí příčiny vzniku mentální retardace a popisuje psychologické zvláštnosti jedinců s mentální retardací, zejména v oblasti emocí a poznávání. Závěrem se zaměřuje na začlenění mentálně retardovaného jedince do společnosti, do vzdělávacího systému a na míru finanční účasti státu při péči o takové osoby. Praktická část je založena na zúčastněném pozorování klientů Denního stacionáře Slunečnice v Pardubicích, s cílem popsat, jak probíhá komunikace pracovníků stacionáře s klienty. Přiloženy jsou také kazuistiky klientů tohoto zařízení a standardizovaný rozhovor se sociálním pracovníkem stacionáře.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	This work is focused on the problems of mental retardation from a social point of view. It refers to some historic moments in the care for mentally handicapped individuals, aimed at the explanation of basic concepts and describes the different degrees of mental handicaps. It details the causes of mental retardation and describes psychological rarities of individuals with mental retardation, mostly in the area of emotions and perception. The conclusion is focused on the integration of a mentally retarded individual into society, the educational system and some measure of financial participation of the state in the care for such persons. The practical part is based on attendance in observing clients of the Day care centre Slunečnice in Pardubice, with the aim of describing, how communication between clients and workers develops. Attached are also casuistries of clients of this institute and a standardized conversation with a social worker of the day care centre.	eng
