The aim of the work is to analyse and interpret the changes of grand tours of Bohemian, Moravian and Austrian nobility from the defeat of estate's uprising (1620) to the times when Habsburg rulers tried to restrict the journeys of young nobility abroad (the beginning of the rule of Maria Theresa, around 1750) and when we speak about the "nationalization" of noble education: they got quality universities and military academies at home. |
