dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce přináší informace o těhotných ženách, kterým byl diagnostikován gestační diabetes mellitus a u nichž bylo nutné zahájit léčbu inzulinem na základě nedostatečné kompenzace onemocnění diabetickou dietou. Práce obsahuje dvě hlavní části. Část teoretickou, která sestává ze čtyř kapitol, a část výzkumnou. Teoretická část pojednává o epidemiologii, charakteristice a klasifikaci diabetu, dále se zaměřuje na gestační diabetes a léčbu inzulinem. Výzkumná část ověřuje výzkumné záměry, které se týkají epidemiologických dat, výsledků edukace a subjektivního hodnocení selfmonitoringu glykémií a léčby inzulinem u studovaného souboru 34 gestačních diabetiček léčeným inzulinem. Výsledky výzkumu moje výzkumné záměry potvrzují. GDM postihuje více ženy s vyšším BMI, v dalších graviditách dochází k opakování GDM, inzulinoterapii pacientky po prvotních obavách zvládnou a edukace je motivuje i k adherenci k diabetické dietě. dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide information about pregnant women with the diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus. Some of these women have to receive insulin treatment as a result of insufficient metabolic control with the diabetic diet. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical and it consists of four chapters. The second part is analytical and it contains the research. The theoretical part gives a concise information about the epidemiology, characteristics and classification of diabetes, then it focuses on gestational diabetes and insulin therapy. The research part confirms the hypotheses about the epidemiology of GDM, patient education outcomes, and the perception of blood glucose self-monitoring and insulin therapy by the patients. The study population consists of 34 women with gestational diabetes treated with insulin. The results confirm the hypotheses. The women with higher BMI are more prone to GDM, GDM often repeats in the next pregnancy. After the initial hesitation, patients find the insulin therapy generally easy. Proper education motivates them to comply with the diabetic diet. A further explanation of certain chapters can be found in the appendix.	eng
