Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vyšetřením čichu u osob s neurologickým onemocněním. Hlavní podstatou práce je potvrzení či vyvrácení předpokladu, že neurodegenerativní onemocnění (Parkinsonova choroba) má vliv na funkci čichu. K hodnocení funkce čichu jsme použili dva standardní testy subjektivní olfaktometrie, a to OMT test a Sniffin´Sticks (část identifikace). U obou testů byl bodový zisk statisticky významně nižší u osob s Parkinsonovou chorobou, než u osob s jiným neurologickým onemocněním. Diplomová práce se dělí na dvě části, na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na anatomii a fyziologii čichové soustavy, poruchu čichu a problematiku Parkinsonové choroby a roztroušené sklerózy mozkomíšní. Ve výzkumné části jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu zpracované do tabulek a grafů. |

This diploma thesis deals with the examination of the sense of smell in patients with neurological diseases. The essential part of the work focuses on proof or disproof of the hypothesis that neurodegenerative disease like Parkinson's disease affects olfactory perception. To evaluate olfactory function, we used two olfactory tests (Odourized Markers Test - OMT and Sniffin' Sticks - part identification). In both tests, patients with Parkinson's disease reached significantly lower score than patients with other neurological diseases. The work is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second part is experimental. The theoretical part concentrates on anatomy and physiology of olfactory system and olfactory disorders, Parkinson's disease and multiple cerebrospinal sclerosis. In the experimental part of the thesis research results are presented in a form of tables and graphs. |
