Příspěvek prezentuje možnosti užití alternativních a augmentativních technik u seniorů s demencí v institucích. V úvodu se zabývá současným stavem institucionalizace péče o seniory v Čechách ve vztahu k výskytu demence a kognitivně komunikačních poruch. V diagnostice a terapii osob s demencí jsou kognitivně komunikační poruchy opomíjeny. V terminální fázi demence mohou tyto poruchy vézt k neschopnosti komunikovat. Tomu je třeba předcházet a umožnit seniorům komunikovat. Zde užíváme technik a metody alternativní a augmentativní komunikace jako je předmětová komunikace, komunikace pomocí fotografii, symbolů a piktogramů, znakové systémy a kognitivně intervenční programy. |

The paper presents the possibilities of use of alternative and augmentativních techniques in seniors with dementia in institutions. The introduction deals with the current state of the institutionalization of the care of the elderly in the Czech Republic in relation to the incidence of dementia and cognitive communication disorders. In the diagnosis and therapy of persons with dementia are cognitive communication disorders neglected. In the Terminal phase of dementia can these disorders carry to the inability to communicate. It is necessary to prevent, and allow seniors to communicate. We used here the techniques and methods of alternative and augmentative communication such as předmětová communication, communication by using the photograph, symbols and pictograms, code systems and cognitive intervention programs. |
