Abstract:

Cassiterite pigments with general formula Sn0,98Cr0,01M0,01O2 (where M = Ti, Zr), were synthesized by solid state reactions at high calcination temperatures of 1350, 1400, 1450, 1500°C. The prepared pigments were evaluated from the standpoint of their colour properties and particle size distribution.
