Předložená bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zkoumání problematiky svobody v 17. a 18. století z politicko - filosofického hlediska u anglického filosofa Johna Locka a francouzského myslitele Jeana Jacquesa Rousseaua. Primární literaturou, která je v této souvislosti zkoumána, je Lockovo Druhé pojednání o vládě a Rousseauovy rozpravy O společenské smlouvě neboli o zásadách státního práva a O původu nerovnosti mezi lidmi.
Předložená práce nejprve analyzuje pojem svobody a stručně nastiňuje jeho dějinný vývoj. Poté zkoumá pojetí svobody v politické filosofii Johna Locka a Jeana Jacquesa Rousseaua. V závěru práce je vyzdvižena důležitost obou koncepcí a její dopady na novověkou společnost. Srovnání myšlenek obou autorů ukazuje shodné i rozdílné prvky v jejich pojetí svobody ve stavu přirozeném a ve společnosti. Rozdílné pojetí autorů se stává inspirací novověkých teorií. U Johna Locka se jedná o liberalistické teorie, zatímco Jean Jacques Rousseau je inspirací teorií socialistických. |

This thesis is focused on researching of issues of freedom in 17th and 18th century from political - philosophical point of view of John Locke and French thinker Jean Jacques Rousseau. Primarily surveyed literature is Locke's Two Treatises of Government and Rousseau's Of the Social Contract, Principles of Political Right and Discourse on the Origin of Inequality.
Firstly, this paper analyses the notion freedom and briefly outlines its historical development. Secondly, it researches the concept in political philosophy of John Locke and Jean Jacques Rousseau. In the conclusion of this paper is highlighted the importance of both conceptions and their impacts on modern society. The comparison of ideas of both authors shows concordant and different elements in their concept of freedom in its natural state and in the society. Different concepts of these authors have become an inspiration to modern theories, with John Locke it is the liberalistic theory and socialist theory with Jean Jacques Rousseau. |
