dc.description.abstract Need of business process management becomes a necessary condition for improving company's effectiveness. Nowadays, business processes are more complex and contain growing amount of parameters and variables. As a result, business process optimization is getting hardly solvable. Therefore, new approaches are being sought to prove the goal in short time and at low costs. The work shows the possibility of the utilization of business process management, mainly business process planning, with usage of genetic algorithm and genetic programming. The conclusions based on described solutions are then considered due to newly established needs in modern companies. eng
